2025/26 Volunteer Program

Newport is a volunteer club and the majority of our facilities, events and board are volunteer run.

Volunteering at Newport can take many forms, from an hour setting up for an event to a 2 year commitment as a committee lead or Director. It takes help from everyone to run a successful club.

Newport is one of the few volunteer clubs on the lake that does not have mandatory hours with financial penalty for those who don’t volunteer. We would like to keep it that way and encourage all members to volunteer in some way.

Keep in mind some volunteer work can be done in the winter season as well, so you are not giving up your summer weekends. See below for opportunities to help out.
