ANNUAL MOORING FEES

  • Patron - $90.00 PER FOOT (Length Over All) + HST

  • Patron (Fishing Charters) $90.00 PER FOOT (Length Over All) + HST

    • Boat mooring includes 1- 30 Amp electricity, pump-outs and water April 15 - October 15

    • PWCs/Dinghies - $90 per foot (LOA) for standalone vessels, minimum 10 feet, or a discounted $76 per foot (LOA) if you also have a primary boat at the club. A primary vessel is not considered a PWC or Dinghy.

    • DINGHIES Moored in Owner's slip - No Charge

    • Please review our Personal Watercraft and Tender Policy (2026) to understand charges for your PWC’s and Tenders.

ANNUAL BOATING (Patron) MEMBER FEES

  • ANNUAL BOATING MEMBERSHIP DUES - $315.00 + HST

  • BOATING MEMBERSHIP “INITIATION” FEES - $350.00 + HST (paid once at contract signing)

COMUNITY INVESTMENT / VOLUNTEER FEES (PATRON & EMR WITH BOATS)

  • ANNUAL DUES - $400 + HST. 16 HOURS OF APPROVED & DEFINED WORK HOURS TO CREDIT THIS PROGRAM

ANNUAL NON-MOTORIZED BOATING MEMBER FEES

  • ANNUAL NON-MOTORIZED BOATING (INCL. SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP) DUES - $315.00 + HST

  • NON- MOTORIZED BOATING MEMBERSHIP “INITIATION” FEES - $160.00 + HST (paid once at contract signing)

  • Pool access add on: $525 + HST (access to the pool for all members of your household)

ANNUAL SOCIAL NON-BOATING MEMBER FEES

  • ANNUAL SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP DUES - $140.00 + HST

    • Pool access add on: $525 + HST (access to the pool for all members of your household)

  • SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP “INITIATION’ FEE - $160.00 + HST (paid once at contract signing)

  • Members upgrading from social to patron would be charged the difference in initiation fees and annual membership dues. Voting rights can be found on our by-laws

SHORT TERM MOORING

TIME: 3 Months Only
INITIATION AND DUES: REQUIRED
$ per Foot (LOA): $100.00 per foot

TIME: 2 Months Only
INITIATION AND DUES: REQUIRED
$ per Foot (LOA): $70.00 per foot

TIME: 1 Months Only
INITIATION AND DUES: REQUIRED
$ per Foot (LOA): $35.00 per foot

TIME: <1 Months Only
INITIATION AND DUES: NOT REQUIRED
$ per Foot (LOA): $2.50 per foot/per Day

NOTE: Bringing in boats for the specific purpose of selling within Newport Yacht Club is strictly forbidden. All boats must be located in a current member assigned slip and be used for personal recreational use or NYC approved Fish Chartering only.

Insurance Reminder:
⚠️ Please note that all boats must have proof of insurance with a minimum of $2 million in liability coverage on file before entering the harbour. This is a mandatory requirement for all members and guests. Upon the 3rd request for proof of insurance the member will be subject to a $40.00 administrative charge.


WINTER STORAGE

Newport has a very limited amount of winter storage for trailered boats. Please contact membership@newportyachtclub.ca for availability. Rates and application can be found here.


CLUBHOUSE/TENT RENTAL

Newport’s tent and clubhouse is available to rent to members for private functions.
Rental cost is $450.00 for up to 6 hours (includes set up and take down), $50 for each additional hour. $100 deposit that will be refunded post events if there are no damages. If the Tent rental is cancelled the $100 deposit will not be returned.

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Annual membership & community investment / volunteer fees are due December 1st. Fees not received by Dec 15th will be subject to a 5% late fee. Fees not received by Dec 31st will result in a 10% late fee.

  • Mooring fees are due upon receipt and must be fully paid by March 1st. Boats and watercraft can't enter the harbour until all membership, volunteer, storage and slip fees are paid in full and the boat can enter the harbour under their own power.

  • Mooring fees not received by March 15th will be subject to a 5% surcharge. Fees not received by April 1st will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

  • Mooring fees not paid by March 15t will result in the slip being released back into inventory

  • Winter storage fees are payable prior to the boat / camper / trailer going into storage. 

  • Any member with special circumstances should contact the Treasurer

    prior to March 1st to arrange special accommodation


    NOTES: All fees subject to change as per Board of Directors’ annual review

    CANCELLATIONS

    Boating and social memberships may be cancelled in writing at any time.


    REFUNDS

    • Annual membership, volunteer and initiation dues are non-refundable.

    • Mooring fee refunds are non-refundable as of April 15th when the club opens for the season.
