ANNUAL NON-MOTORIZED BOATING MEMBER FEES

• ANNUAL NON-MOTORIZED BOATING (INCL. SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP) DUES - $300.00 + HST

• NON- MOTORIZED BOATING MEMBERSHIP “INITIATION” FEES - $150.00 + HST (paid once at contract signing)

• Pool access add on: $500 + HST (access to the pool for all members of your household)

• ANNUAL SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP DUES - $140.00 + HST

  • Pool access add on: $500 + HST (access to the pool for all members of your household)

• SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP “INITIATION’ FEE - $150.00 + HST (paid once at contract signing)

• Members upgrading from social to patron would be charged the difference in initiation fees and annual membership dues. Voting rights can be found on our by-laws

NOTE: Bringing in boats for the specific purpose of selling within Newport Yacht Club is strictly forbidden. All boats must be located in a current member assigned slip and be used for personal recreational use or NYC approved Fish Chartering only.

WINTER STORAGE

Newport has a very limited amount of winter storage for trailered boats. Please contact membership@newportyachtclub.ca for availability. Rates and application can be found here.

CLUBHOUSE/TENT RENTAL

Newport’s tent and clubhouse is available to rent to members for private functions.
Rental cost is $450.00 per evening (6 pm to 11 pm), $90 for each additional hour.

PAYMENT POLICY

• Annual membership fees are due upon receipt. Membership fees not received by Dec 31st will result in in the slip being released back into inventory. Membership fees not received by Dec 15th will be subject to a 5% late fee. Membership fees not received by Jan 15th will result in a 10% late fee.

• Mooring fees are due upon receipt and must be fully paid by March 15th. Boats and watercraft can't enter the harbour until all membership, storage and slip fees are paid in full and the boat can enter the harbour under their own power. Fees not received by April 1st will be subject to a 10% surcharge

• Mooring fees not received by March 15th will be subject to a 5% surcharge. Fees not received by April 1st will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

• Mooring fees not paid by March 31st will result in the slip being released back into inventory

• Winter storage fees are payable prior to the boat / camper / trailer going into storage. 

• Any member with special circumstances should contact the Treasurer

  prior to April 1st to arrange special accommodation

  CANCELLATIONS

  Boating and social memberships may be cancelled in writing at any time.

  
  REFUNDS

  • Annual membership and initiation dues are non-refundable.

  • Mooring fee refunds are at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
